Full licence lessons from Motueka to Nelson
Once you have built up your confidence and skills through passing your restricted test, you will be ready to start preparation for your full test. At Streets Ahead Driving School, we aim to put you in the best position to pass first time.
We offer full licence lessons that are the perfect preparation for your driving test. With a number of options available, including automatic or manual vehicles, we can tailor each lesson to suit your needs and ensure you have the best chance possible of passing your test. The full licence test is very similar to the restricted licence test, it differs in duration, being only 30 minutes long and tests you on the following:
• Correct signal use
• Head checks/blind spot checks
• Correct speed to the road conditions
• Satisfactory breaking skills
• Correct road positioning
• Good gap selections
Plus you will be required to do a “commentary drive” from time to time during the test. This “commentary” will require you to identify hazards and your responses to them. To find more information on the criteria for the full licence test visit the NZTA website.
